You boys like Mexicooo? Spring break is coming up and you and your bros are headed down to Cancun for the best week of your life you won’t remember. You’ve got you bottles of tequila and ray bans ready to go. The anticipation is killing you. To get in the mood, why don’t you whip up some guacamole? Hey avocado is a superfood, which will perfectly fit into your strict spring break diet of only McDonalds and Chipotle. You’re going to be looking real good down in Mexico.
3 Haas avocados
1/2 red or yellow onion cut fine
1 small tomato diced
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 chopped jalepeño
1 Tablespoon of fresh cilantro
2 teaspoons of lime juice
1 teaspoon of cumin
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne powder (optional for spiciness)
salt to taste
1. Begin by cutting the avocados in half and scooping out the insides with a spoon. Place the insides into a bowl and mash them into until they are a smooth consistency.
2. De-seed your tomatoes by reaching into the tomatoes, grabbing the seeds and discarding them. Cut up all ingredients and place into the bowl with avocado.
3. Add remaining spices and lime juice. Stir and salt to taste.
