Spicy Potato Wedges

Ever since chugging that whole bottle of tabasco during pledging, you’ve been chasing after a new level of spicy. At this point every meal from the frat chef needs an extra dousing of some franks red hot for you to even taste it. Well there’s another way to get the kick you’re craving. A whole lot of cayenne pepper. Normally dumped on pledges food for our enjoyment, cayenne and a frat load of other spices are the combination you need to make awesome potato wedges to have with your Pan Seared Steak steak and personal thirty of Natty.

Ingredients:

4 russet potatoes
3 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon of chili powder
2 teaspoons of onion powder
2 teaspoons of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 to 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Cooking:

1. Start by cutting up your potatoes into wedges. There’s no wrong way to do it, but I cut the potato in half then cut across for perfect crescents.

2. Combine all of the other ingredients into a plastic bag or bowl. Add the potatoes and toss until all of them are coated evenly with the spices.

3. Turn oven to 400 degrees and place potatoes on a baking sheet. Let them cook for 35 to 40 minutes. If you have the patience the longer you go the more crisp the potatoes will be. Make sure to flip once so both sides are golden brown.

4. Drink.

5. Take the potatoes out of the oven and watch your basketball team blow the game again. What a bunch of GDIs.
